489 - one of the highest numbered E400 Cities in the fleet - follows 404 - one of the lowest numbered - onto Canal Street.
And no, it is not biogas navy line 45, it's just an odd angle viewing the destination blind.

This was our second polar bear sighting, this time another female bear working her way up further north in search of food.
Over a period of a few hours, we tracked this bear from our Zodiacs, as the bear walked along the long coast of one of the islands, then swimming over to another island and continuing to walk.
I took several hundreds of shots of this bear, and most of them look good or interesting in some way. I have not had the time to study them all in detail.
I am uploading about 30 of them to flickr... That's a lot of photos of one bear, but for those who have not been close to polar bears, I hope it gives a sense for these amazing and incredibly lonely animals.
Enjoy the images, and don't feel compelled to comment on them all.
Another of my memorable shots of this bear.
Május 11. a Közlekedési Kultúra Napja. Ezen a napon, a közlekedési ágazat egy országos akcióval hívta fel a figyelmet arra, hogy minden nap a kulturált közlekedés napja legyen.Az esemény alkalmából különleges villamos különjárat indult 2021. május 11-én, kedden „Tényleg szerettek így utazni?! … a szemléltető szemét” címmel. A bengáli villamoson berendezett interaktív kiállítás a kulturált utazást és annak hiányát szemléltete.
The 49X cuts out Queen’s Drive Park and Ride for a quicker through journey to the Boots factory, and 489 is seen working one such trip down Arkwright Street on 3.12.22. Two minutes behind it came an identical vehicle with a short 49B to the Park and Ride site, meaning the P&R still got served without there being a gap in the timetable.
With resource spare following loss of work earlier in the month, a new Buses Excetera service started on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
Not to be confused with the previous Guildford - Epsom corridor route 489 during the battle with Sunray Travel, the new route 489 starts in Merstham, which is where the company's depot is located. From Delabole Road (traditional terminus of the 430/435 prior to Surrey CC's 2010 Bus Review where it was cut back slightly to save running time), the service runs via East Surrey College to Redhill, then along the A25 to Reigate.
It continues along the A25 from Reigate to Dorking, where it does a double run of the town centre and loops round the one way system.
It then follows the 465 route via Mickleham to Givons Grove Roundabout, and then runs directly to Leatherhead Crescent via Dorking Road.
The service is hourly, Monday-Saturdays, with a couple of school variations too.
Nimbus Dart HV02 PCZ has now received route branding for the service, and is seen here opposite Dorking White Horse loading for Redhill and Merstham.
Update: The route wasn't to last long, being withdrawn after operation on Friday 19th January 2018.

This was also the last day of the 477, though that route's last bus was much later in the day than the 489, which ran off-peak shopping hours only.
