Ever since I went to school in Hucknall I found myself drawn to the 125 route on weekend Zig Zag trips, which at the time operated with Merc Varios and later gained the T reg Darts.
Fast forward some twenty years and we're now saying goodbye to the route which became Amberline, in favour of a route numbered 34 which will combine with the Connect C1 in Hucknall to operate hourly between Hucknall and Ilkeston via Harrier Park, Watnall, Kimberley, Eastwood, Aldercar, Heanor and Shipley.
489 approaches Horsley Woodhouse in the twighlight of it's Amberline career with a service to Derby via Kilburn, Coxbench and Little Eaton.
Or JBK 222 X, the other Goldliner new to Coliseum. This moved all of 50 yards to its next owner Princess - Summerbee.
The Victorian Iron Horse Roundup at the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, August 26, 2021. Several different trains were run this day. C&TS Train 215 was led by K-36 489 out of Antonito. Eureka and Glenbrook puled the historic consist on a round-trip excursion from Antonito to Osier. No. 487 brought train 216 over from Chama; it and 489 met at Osier and performed some switching moves during the lunch stop, with 489 returning to Antonito with train 216 and 487 heading back to Chama with 215. After the regular trains departed, the woodburners were fueled and watered at Osier before heading back to Antonito. A late afternoon storm soaked the Conejos Valley; the sun peeked through the clouds just before sunset, creating some fantastic storm light images in Antonito shortly after Osier Turn with Eureka and Glenbrook pulled into the station.

This bus was new to Lothian Buses as 489 in 2017.

During the lockdown, Lothian Buses were running limited services with some not running. All routes were run out of central garage, Livingston and Musselburgh depots only, using madder buses which have screens to protect the driver from attacks, which were at the time used to protect the drivers and public from contamination. Buses were drafted in from all depots and used for 2 weeks before deep cleaning, meaning unusual workings were seen. Only buses with long MOTs are used until staff can get back safely to do the MOTs.
About a year and a half ago I started this model in LDD. I was able to complete the roof and windows, but I wasn't sure how to progress with the cab. Six months later I completed the design. A couple months later, I designed the scenery and completed the render.
The model is 8 studs wide and sits on a 2 stud wide track gauge; however, I will likely revise this to 3 studs. There are two L motors and battery box in the second carriage.
