Lothian Buses has partnered with Age Scotland, to launch a campaign that will help raise awareness of loneliness among the elderly in Edinburgh.

Volvo B5TL / Wright Gemini 3, number 465 (SJ66 LRU) is the last of the new Fleet of the Future (group 441 to 465), which started to come into operation in Capital, in December 2016.

Like all in the group, 465 is fitted with Euro VI transmission, but features this unique one-off design (created in collaboration with Age Scotland).

465 is captured here at the entrance to Westwoods leisure centre on Crewe Road. You’ll usually find me in here, swimming a mile at 6.30am (64 lengths). A great pool it is too.

Not posted in a while, so I thought I wold put a few pics up from a couple of weeks ago. Story be hind these are that the night before I was talking to my sister on the phone and mentioned I had a couple of days off and as it turned out she had the next day off also. So we arrange a meet up for lunch in a village not too far away. Had a great time and even got a nice comment about my shawl/scarf from a lady in a craft shop we popped into.
