48160 announced the arrival of the late running 4621N long before it and 8172 were in site. The little alco sounded awesome as it took to Repton Bank.
After carrying out a couple of hours of shunting 4621 is seen passing through Nana Glen on its way to Grafton.

Missouri Botanical Garden has outdone themselves this year for the annual Orchid show. It's my first time seeing the moss mannequins, and they are impressive with their floral art headdresses. James Lutke is the designer of this particular one. Lots of vibrant colors this year.
The 82 class first enterred service in the 1990's with the then Freighcorp, they were acquired as part of the ready power scheme along with the 90 class. The 82 class were referred to as Community Champion . A number of the class were named after individuals who played a major role in their community. 8209 would be named after Coffs Harbour resident Arnold Hannaford part of the Hannaford Banana Growing family. Arnold along with two other brothers enlisted and defended their country during WW2. After the war Arnold wuld become a master baker and operated a bakery with his brother Reg. The family would have association with the North Coast Line operating for a number of years a banana loading platform before rail gave away transporting bananas to road transport. 8209 was one of a number of 82 class locomotives that operate/operated coal operations in Pacific Nationals Soutern Coal division. 8209 is seen here with 8181 on 4621N Cement sugar shunt train the last shunt train to operate on the NSW North Coast they are seen here passing through Sawtell.
