Bethany got Trudy and I all set up with our first smart phones a week ago. She had to give us lessons on how to use them. I can only do the basics like calling, texting, and getting on a couple internet sites. This morning when I got out of church I could hear the whine of EMD's over by the salt mine. I went over and found the GW1 getting ready to depart with the loaded train, with B&P flare 462 leading. I tried a couple pics with the smart phone and like the results. EMD SW1 of the former Turtle Creek Industrial Railroad. Photographed from about 1000 feet away on Route 837. I think this is one of the properties of Durabond. This switcher is a former Johnstown & Stoney Creek 462 and built as Union Railroad 462 in August 1949.

White Bus and Arriva Guildford did a mini photoshoot at the end of the Brooklands event, involving 3903 (BX56VTW), 61 (YX68ULY) and 4266 (GN64DXG).
All are seen here showing 462 Woking High School. The shoot involved common displays still on the Arriva destination set from before White Bus took over operation of routes 81, 437 and 462/3.
Big thanks to the Arriva drivers who enabled this great little photoshoot!
