Maserati 430 1992. The first 4-door version (Tipo AM332) of the BiTurbo was introduced in 1983 as the Maserati 425 with 2,491cc V6 engine. The AM332 was 3-inches longer in the wheelbase and almost 10-inches longer giving it a big boot. The 430 followed in 1986 with Gandini's restyled body and 222 bhp 2,790cc V6 engine.

Parked a few blocks from the MakerFaire. Maybe an attendee, maybe someone who had some other reason to park their six-figure wheels in San Mateo. The model number "430" is embossed in the outer cover of the rear view mirror. "430" is the displacement, in CC, of one cylinder, I believe. X 8 cylinders, 3440cc, 3.4 litres. Compare to the 250 GTO, 12 cylinders, 3 litres. What? You haven't memorized which Ferraris have how many cylinders?

May 17-18, 1980: Railfair 80 includes operation of special Vista-Dome Mississippi Zephyr Chicago/Dubuque, Iowa on Sunday. The Twentieth Century RR Club pays tribute to the disappearing dome with this special Amtrak train. Consist of E-units, Vista-Domes, Lounge car and coaches will feature all-reserved seats. Train leaves Chicago at 10:00 a.m. and returns about 9:00 p.m., operating via ICG. Photo stops and a stop in historic Galena.
