Yup, believe it or not, this is one of the eggs from London's Big Egg Hunt, in the BFI building on the South Bank of the Thames, London. It's by Maximo Riadigos & Antonio Q Fernandes and is not so much an invisible egg as a "not an egg at all". Instead of a decorated egg shape there's a metal post with light sensors on it. Bizarre!

So, I finally settled on a new phone to replace my broken Treo 650: an Apple iPhone 3G. Yes, I'm now officially a pretentious yuppie.
On the upside, it seems to take halfway decent photos; this is uploaded directly from the phone, using Pushr, without any adjustments. Needs a bit of contrast adjustment, but the output isn't half bad. The shutter speed is terrible, though; don't plan on taking pictures of anything in motion, but then again, it's a cell phone camera. ;-)

Vertigo 42 - highest public space in Tower 42. Very small circulation area. If the drinks don't make you squiffy the vast mirror area might.
Today was a bit of a challenge. I was turned down 3 times for stranger portraits, but that just motivated me even more to find someone willing to let me take a picture of them.
That's when I noticed Tim in his all white outfit and red tie as he was getting ready to go to his job at a restaurant. I stopped him and asked for a few quick pics, and he agreed.
