Day 41 (February 10)
The word was written on a glass which now serves as our planning board : ) oh, and that's my brother jotting down notes :) had a great workday.
Make a color photograph of a scene that has no (or very little) color. Think monochromatic.
— Christopher Anderson
I was thrilled to be greeted by a grey sky this morning as it formed the back drop I'd been waiting for to photograph this satellite tower(?) and fence!
I was not so thrilled by the accompanying rain, the 4 loads of washing that I can't dry and the overgrown lawn that I can't mow... it is most definitely a monochrome Monday!

This is a new hotel, called the Cannery it was built to look like one of the old fish cannery's that were once built on these old pilings. That is the Astoria - Megler bridge on the Columbia River behind it, it connects Oregon and Washington, it is 4.1 miles long, we cross it a lot.

Today was fun. School went by *fails at trying to snap* like that.
Later after school I had piano lessons,
Then after that I hung out with my friend Gina, went to the library, and then hung out at her house.
These lovely tracks are near the library. I feel sorry for the people who live near these tracks (trust me there are a lot, these tracks are like smack dab in the middle of EP.) The trains (freight or metra) are SO loud >.<
Anyways, OMG OMG OMG OMG 11 more days til WARPED TOUR :O!!!!

I was going to post a truly humiliating wolf-in-sheep's-clothing type pic but then I thought of how nice Lou is, how he plays with children and lets them pull on his ears, how he is so gently with lambs, how he only barks a single woof each day ... he doesn't need to be humiliated in 52 Weeks for Dogs, so I used this pic instead. And posted the others on Facebook. Sorry, Lou!

I've been wanting to get a shot like this for like 2 weeks. Finally found some corn fields near home that were on a back road. This way a lot of people wouldn't drive by and think I was crazy for taking pics of corn stalks :)
