Fahrenheit and Celsius meet at -40 degrees. This is the Elbow River leading to the home of the Calgary Flames, the Saddle Dome. Although not a great photo, I thought of the title before the shot and could not believe the cold.

I'm intrigued by the miniature world in this drop. I wish it wasn't so cold, and I wasn't so busy (or at least *should* be busy) so I could get out the tripod and play with this icicle some more.
By this point in my 365 last year, I was cheating more then not, and loosing interest in the commitment. This year, I smile at the photo of the day, and I'm enjoying it, very much.
Spent some time deep cleaning my bedroom today, and there's potato soup simmering on the stove, with home made bread smelling up the house. It's been a good day :)

[Side note: Sorry about not being able to upload recently! It's been a hectic two weeks with moving and finals and everything. Shouldn't be like that any longer.]
Today I helped my parents photograph a wedding. I've never been a fan of shooting events, but Kimi (the bride) is a family friend, so I helped out. I snapped this photo of the bride's grandfather. I feel as though he has a pensive, timeless look and for some reason this photo caught my eye.
