At the end of the Reading Buses open day in July 2018, members of the fleet temporarily parked in the adjacent car park were returned to the depot. Seen parked up out of the way is Greenwave Scania K270UB / Alexander Dennis Enviro300 B42F 405 YR13PLX.

I pass this regularly but have only just got round to getting a photo. It's now on SORN with its last MoT having expired in 2013. It had an impressive 224k miles on the clock when last tested in 2012.
I have a shot of a Ford A-Series on this driveway from some years ago and I think they also used to have a W123 Mercedes (there may even have been a photo from here in an old issue of Practical Classics by someone else).

The earliest 405 I've seen for sometime, especially as a saloon. By coincidence, having never knowingly seen it previously I'd actually seen and photographed it at its house earlier in the day. It was in a quiet cul-de-sac that I'd only gone into because I needed to find an address and I saw a postman on his rounds. Amazing that I saw it again late the in the day.
The dealer sticker and rear plate indicate it was sold at some point by Tothill Services in Stowmarket, Suffolk but the 'NO' registration is from Essex so it was presumably sold new by a dealer across the border.
40 060 resurrected for the Crewe remodeling as 97 405 runs through the station with an empty ballast train.
