If you get a chance to go to Universal Studios, Orlando, you'll soon be able to take home your own personal copy of Hogwart's Castle. This data was generated by 3D scanning a small scale model with our Konica-Minolta scanners, 3D Modeled in Rapidform XOR, scaled down to 10" high, then printed out on our Connex 350 3D printer. this model will be used as a master by Modelwerks, who will be casting the production parts that will be sold in the park.

One Maker in the Jocelyn H. Lee Innovation Lab wanted to have a gear-shift handle that was custom fit for his exact grip. He molded his grip with clay, scanned the mold and used the scanned model to 3D print a handle for his car's gear shift. It doesn't get much more custom than that!
