Lit with some (blinking) UV LEDs. The cheapo black-light "strobe" had no "constant on" setting. So the exposure includes some extra illumination from the glowing which wouldn't be as much otherwise.

Now, this is not really quite what my eyes saw. The white and green were more vivid, and the "white colored" was a weird "luminous black".

From Lulzbot, for the Prusa Mendel.2 in progress. A beautiful gizmo, from a cool company.

I should've printed a smaller test version.

The stock propeller didn't fit flat, so I elevated it. And as it was printing I realized that the propeller itself was even more delicate than the support material.

I unfortunately did not print enough patience to separate it without destroying it.

Still, it was at least pretty.

Flexible parts printed from Filaflex.

Shown with the hackspace Prusa Mendel Printer (was not used to print the parts above).

b3dge: Excellent!

This bolt is only just making contact with the rod. And frankly, I'm not quite sure how I would cut it. Maybe with a dremel and some serious determination.

But I pressed on.

My son wanted a keychain. I wanted to test out ColorFabb's GlowFill. Win Win.

I had to scrounge for bolts and I trimmed a C-614 spring to fit. I used 693 ZZ bearings instead of the specified 623 ZZ.

Varying by filament, I've been having trouble as the printer heats up. The Filament seems to become brittle in the extruder and the feed gear seems to jam up with dust.

I was able with a toothbrush to reach in as this was printing and keep it from completely failing. But you can see that the red PLA is pretty sparse, while the black is fine.
