Number 3 in the incoming series folk. There are so so many more than the one's your seeing because he took forever to land, I just wish I was more proficient at doing video, you would so appreciate the series more.

The DC Tower 3 is a residential high-rise building buit in the Donau City district in Vienna. Designed by Dominique Perrault and completed in 2021, DC Tower 3 is 110 m high.

Das über 94 Meter hohe, 26-geschossige Gebäude ist in drei gegeneinander versetze, sechs Meter breite Scheiben gegliedert und wird daher auch „Dreischeibenhaus“ genannt. Mit der Bauweise als Stahlskelettbau mit Vorhangfassade orientierten sich die Architekten Hentrich und Petschnigg mit Eller, Moser, Walter Ende der 1950er Jahre an zeitgenössischen amerikanischen Strömungen, entwickelten aber mit dem „Drei-Scheiben-Konzept“ eine eigene Idee.
Durch die schmale Form der Scheiben und die Aufteilung, bei der der Erschließungstrakt in der mittlere Gebäudescheibe zu finden ist, erhalten alle Büros im Gebäude natürliches Licht. Die schmalen Stirnseiten sind mit Edelstahlblechen verkleidet, die Vorhangfassade aus Glas, Edelstahl und Aluminium endet einen halben Meter über der Rasenkante und veranschaulicht somit ihre Eigenschaft als nichttragendes Element.
Durch die elegante und selbstverständlich wirkende Gliederung des Baukörpers und die exponierte Lage zwischen alten und neuen Hofgarten in der Sichtlinie der Berliner Allee und der Kaiserstraße gewann das Dreischeibenhaus für Düsseldorf Wahrzeichencharakter.
Das Düsseldorfer Dreischeibenhaus gilt als wegweisend im deutschen Hochhausbau.
