A steam locomotive in a gloomy misty winter world in the mountains just lends itself perfectly to b&w imagery and I processed a few that way.
Here is just a simple grab shot of Conway Scenic's ex CN 0-6-0 #7470 at speed approaching the Route 302 crossing eastbound between Bartlett center and Attitash.

A crane on a construction site (building a new hotel) in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands.
Ein Rundgang über das Gelände des früheren Carlswerks an der Schanzenstraße in Köln-Mülheim. In der Vergangenheit wurden hier Drähte, Kabel und elektronische Komponenten für die verschiedensten Aufgaben hergestellt. Ein Teil dieser Werke hat in Form der "Drahtwerke Köln" bis heute überlebt. Der überwiegende Teil des Areals ist heute Heimat für Medien- und Kunstschaffende sowie bekannte Veranstaltungsorte wie "E-Werk" und "Palladium".

A walk across the historic 'Carlswerk', a former production site for heavy duty wires and cables as well as highly developped electronic components. Up to now part of it survived in form of the "Drahtwerke Köln". Yet the largest part of the area today gives a home to artists, entertainers and media companies. Also some well known venues like the 'E-Werk' and 'Palladium' can be found here.
Poppy is 3 today.
Can't quite believe it's been that long though me and her have had lots of adventures and been to lots of places in that time. A dog is the best motivator to get you on your feet and exploring the great outdoors.
A bit of ink, a bit of watercolour and coloured pencils on cartridge paper. About 18 X 18cm. This is my hammer, we have separate tools in our house 😀

Sappi 3 makes their way across Rt. 201 on their way to the Waterville yard behind both of Pan Am's heritage painted GP9's with a decent sized train in tow. While they are usually used for switching in the yard, you can usually get at least one of them running to Augusta or Oakland. The pair generally isn't kept together so getting them together on Sappi 3 was a nice change from just the usual lone GP9.

the wood that this piece is from an earlier piece i made. it was a much larger piece.
i took apart the original piece , broke it into several components and put it back again.
i sometimes do this when i feel a piece either needs to be re-worked or else given "a new face" (so to speak).
