"There was a crow
On a barb-wired fence
It sang a song of greed and gossip
It sang so aloud that it
Woke me from bed
And all week that song
Was stuck in my head"

Despite of my expectation, the weather was quite bad when I arrived to the famous Jokulsarlon in Iceland. Low clouds, iceberg entirely surrounded by the fog, rain and poor visibility (Basic icelandic weather so…). Following displacement of the type by ex Lothian B9TLs, former Notts & Derby President X683RDA (39) moved within the Wellglade Group to TM Travel in the spring. In spite of its age it appears to be lingering, its survival perhaps aided by a substantial PVR increase following acquisition of additional work in early October. It is a regular performer on a duty which works AM and PM runs on school route 583 interspersed off-peak by carrying large amounts of fresh air around on contracted service 81. The vehicle is seen here climbing into Shuttlewood with the 12:45 from Markham Vale to Bolsover.
