"Workin 9 to 5
What a way to make a livin
Barely gettin by
Its all takin
And no givin
They just use your mind
And they never give you credit
Its enough to drive you
Crazy if you let it " ~Dolly Parton
At 19, I was working full-time pushing papers behind a desk, bright-eyed, ambitious but somehow, still quite unsure.
Sunday afternoons would roll around and I remember the dread of knowing that I'd have to wake up early for the office the next day.
One day I decided I wanted to go back to school and have the uni experience, I'm 26 now and haven't yet graduated, but I'm glad I gave myself some time to grow. I feel a lot younger now than I did at 19... actually, sometimes I feel 19 again, and never been so glad for being unsure...
Another damp and bleak morning, although, if memory serves me correctly that could be a little bit of blue out there on the horizon!!

HEY! PLEASE GO LIKE MY FACEBOOK PAGE, BY THE WAY!!
I apologize for my lack of creativity in this photo. I was at work when I took this, and I can assure you that this week has been simply crazy. I have been sleeping all day (when not working) and staying up all night. It was a nice week, yet my nerves are still uneasy. But, all gets better in time and I'm really excited to see what the future holds for me.
Today, I was really beating myself up over people and past events, and it hit me hard. That these people won't remember me in five years time. That these thoughts can get better. That there is so much to grow towards.
I would like to say thank you to my loved ones.
Alex is an incredible boyfriend, and I can't tell you where I would be without him now. He has provided me love and comfort when others have left. He has showed me what a true friend is and better yet, showed me what love can be. I can't say thank you enough.
Angela, you bring me happiness beyond words. I know things are crazy right now and you may feel as if the devil is riding your back, but God has his ways and I'm praying for you constantly. You are my best friend, and I can't wait to catch up and chat.
And to my few best friends, you all mean the world. I can't express that enough. I'm so happy for your comfort.
Felt a bit washed up yesterday. This seemed a fitting image for today. When I finally got home yesterday I started to charge one of my batteries for a couple of hours but it didn't want to hold the charge and so I started to charge my second battery.. It was done late last night.. too late to take my 365. Down to one battery and hopefully it lasts for a while!
So what are the rules for missing a day??

Here is Bear guarding my flowers. He thinks his job is to chase lizards and little ground squirrels. He will sit and stare at the flowers, lizard hole or pile of sticks waiting for lizard movement. Then the chase is on! He will dig in their burrows and try to get them. He knows he can’t catch the birds or bunnies and some day he may realize he can’t catch lizards either!
Bear is a Landseer New Foundland. He weighs about 150 pounds and he is the best companion and protector I could ever want. Once I stepped backwards and fell over a barrel cactus in the yard. By the time I opened my eyes, Bear was standing over me with his nose in my face. Last I recalled, he was inside laying on the kitchen floor. To this day, I don’t know how he knew I fell, but he was certainly there to help me get up. Whenever there is a stranger around he will stand between me and the person so that they cannot get near me. His ability to judge character is amazing. One time when we were camping he pressed against me sitting on my feet and holding me against a picnic table because he was not sure of the guy camping across from us. Bear is not aggressive, but he is possessive!
He is truly a treasure!
