We went to the Floriade, a flower exhibition in Canberra, this weekend. It was all so beautiful; the flowers did not need to be arranged in a certain way, the gardens did not need to be designed... it was just raw beauty. And in that spirit, I decided to post this photo just the way it is, raw and unedited.

Went back to my parent's house to make another couple batches of Christmas cookies. Yum yum!

This really isn't my intended shot for today, i had planned some silliness on the kitchen table, but alas it had been taken over by the Minions who work being very industrious baking! YUM!
Anyway on my way back through the kitchen, i grabbed me camera and rattled off a few shots, This is one of them.
Sam, i think had got a little bored at this point and was messing about, pulling faces in the mirror i should have put on the wall today. His sisters on the other hand were working hard!
This photo shows a flower and the different variations of colors displayed in the background. This is important because the colors attract insects that then spread the pollen for more growth and supplies food to other animals.

A crisp autumn - a half moon above, shadowy figures around the out-house...noises...the farmer with his lantern, listening. A sudden crash of wood...the out-house was down. it was halloween!
