1978 Ferrari 400 Automatic
Chassis No. 24297
At the 1976 Paris Auto Salon, Ferrari introduced the new 400 2+2, its replacement for the 365 GT4 2+2. Featuring distinctively angular styling by Pininfarina, the 400 continued to provide luxurious and spacious high-speed transportation for up to four passengers. Produced in 400 and 412 variants from 1976 until 1989, just 2,383 examples of this limited-production series were built. With its handsome bodywork and high performance levels, the 400 has recently attracted the attention of astute Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts and they are widely regarded as very capable grand touring machines.
24297: Finished in desirable black paint over tan hides, this immaculate one-owner, 19k mile example benefits from a lifetime of proper maintenance and knowledgeable ownership.
A top notch candidate for any preservation class, this car presents superbly inside and out. The original black finish stills displays a deep glossy shine, while all rubbers remain supple and dry-rot free. The clean cabin features dual A/C climate zones - front and rear, a beautiful wood veneered console, and supple two-tone upholstery. The Ferrari remains highly original, as great effort has been put forth to preserve its charm. Original registration card and paperwork accompany the car, along with Instruction Book, dusting cloth, both sets of keys, emergency roadside kit with roll, jack and spare!
Complemented by a set of correct five-spoke magnesium wheels and Michelin tires, this elegant, yet very sporty 400 is certain to offer the thrilling driving experience that only a Ferrari can deliver.

that's my house...
this weekend I succumbed to my worst nightmare - a trip to Ikea!
We made the quickest of visits, smash and grab, to get to those strange things you can't get anywhere else - such as the stuff that stop rugs sliding around on polished wooden floors (reassuringly called STOPP), and dividing inserts for kitchen drawers to stop the mingling of knives and forks (more bizarelly called VARIERA). As we charged around the store at speed (cocking a nod to MALM on the way) we zoomed past this poster of Amsterdam, suddenly stopped, and went back to look again.
The picture is where we lived only a few months ago... our canal, our house on the right... and now everyone can be our neighbours courtesy of Ikea!
(except we don't live there anymore)
We did a fun little shoot in a wheat field this past weekend. This photo is from the middle of week 39, so we're down to the wire now. Easier breathing, and lower back pain tells us that baby has moved down.
Pier 39 is a shopping center and popular tourist attraction built on a pier in San Francisco, California. At Pier 39, there are shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, an interpretive center for the Marine Mammal Center, the Aquarium of the Bay, virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39's marina. The marina is also home to the floating Forbes Island restaurant. A two-story carousel is one of the pier's more dominant features, although it is not directly visible from the street and sits towards the end of the pier. The family-oriented entertainment and presence of marine mammals make this a popular tourist location for families with kids.
The pier is located at the edge of the Fisherman's Wharf district and is close to North Beach, Chinatown, and the Embarcadero. The area is easily accessible via the historic F Market streetcars.
I got this in the mail today, it's a shadow from the ELF Duo Smoky Eye Kit (5 bucks for 4 duo shadows and a brush, and they're all actually really nice quality) I LOVE the black in this duo, how cool is that shimmer?
Nice to get out for a couple of hours this afternoon.. Only 39(s)miles (kept stopping for pictures!) Lovely mixed weather too..
Plus in the collage are the two recording apps I use - RealRider and RideWithGPS..
