Pewnie zapytacie czemu dzień po dniu motyw z kamiennym wiaduktem? Już odpowiadam.
Wiele linii kolejowych posiada charakterystyczne dla siebie wyróżniki w postaci elementów infrastruktury kolejowej czy towarzyszącej. Pierwszym typowym i najbardziej znanym dla linii 277 elementem są liczne łukowe kamienne wiadukty jedno i dwuprzęsłowe jak na powyższym zdjęciu. Charakterystyczny odcień budulca czy ich kształt od razu wskazuje, gdzie jesteśmy.
Drugi element jest już mniej widoczny dla pasjonata-amatora a bardziej dla zawodowych kolejarzy. Są to dosyć archaiczne układy torowe stacji wzdłuż tej dwutorowej linii. O co chodzi? Otóż w stacjach (poza Jelczem-Laskowicami, Karłowicami oraz Popielowem — chociaż w przypadku Popielowa nie wiem, czy pierwotnie również nie był taki układ) tory główne dodatkowe (zawsze jest to pojedynczy tor) znajdują się pomiędzy torami głównymi zasadniczymi. Nie byłoby w sumie w tym nic dziwnego. Ale... Aby zmienić tor szlakowy z lewego na prawy lub na odwrót trzeba przejechać przez tor główny dodatkowy! Nie ma trapezów rozjazdowych pomiędzy torami głównymi zasadniczymi. Wystarczy, aby jakiś pociąg stał na torze głównym dodatkowym i już stacja nie może w żadnym kierunku przeprowadzić zmiany toru. Stojąc w stacji na torze głównym zasadniczym, nie wyjedziemy już na tor lewy. Trzeba się przemanewrować. Ot ciekawostka i charakterystyka tej linii. Lepiej nie zamykać tutaj składów czy wołać podmiany.
Trzecią ciekawostką są parterowe nastawnie z mocno spiczastym dachem. Jedną z nich widać na zdjęciu z ET22-813

So while I figure something out on how to style my hair, I want to do something without heads this week!
Self-imposed rules include no head manipulations! Meaning, I can't turn my head into flowers, smoke etc2. Just all about bad angles, bad cropping..etc.

Backed by the local landmark of Thorpe Cloud which marks the southern end of the tourist trap that is Dovedale, High Peak Optare Solo M920 MX53FDG (374) is seen as it leaves Thorpe with the 10:10 101 back to Ashbourne.
The 101 serves Thorpe four times per day, though one of these journeys does not operate on schooldays. Prior to revisions to the Ashbourne-Hartington/Matlock corridor in April 2013 which saw services 101/2/3 introduced, Thorpe village itself was unserved, with the 442 stopping at the Dog & Partridge (now The Old Dog) at the end of the road.
