Photos from our visits in 2012 and 2015 to my favorite Flea Market, the Swap Shop in Fort Lauderdale Florida. One of my few black and white shows and only the second one that ran less than a minute in its original version.
Day 165
today didn't go well.
actually, today didn't go at all.
in a nutshell, i was supposed to have minor surgery today (my fourth) to fix a long time problem. i was prepped and prodded and put through some rather severe pain (not put under for this procedure) only to have them tell me that something had gone wrong and we have to reschedule for wednesday.
needless to say, i'm upset. and depressed. and still kind of in shock i guess.
so, no good inspiration for my 365 today. just a bad shot of me, back at home again, contemplating the day and the fact that i didn't even go through the worst of it and that i have to do this all over again the day after tomorrow.
and yes, as a matter of fact, i am wallowing in self pity right now. this emotion is going to pass quickly as i hate it when people feel sorry for themselves and i know full well that things could be a lot worse. but this is my most honest shot of this exact moment and it's important to me that i stay true to myself and this project.
so, okay. bad day. tomorrow won't be. wednesday is going to SUCK, but tomorrow will be fine.
