CN 369 splits the intermediate signals at MP 17.4 of the Kingston Sub with CN 8920, CN 2553 and 141 cars.
Sinds dit jaar rijdt Arriva tussen Winterswijk en Arnhem voor een groot deel van de dag op zaterdag met twee gekoppelde GTW stellen werd gemeld. En inderdaad reden vier van de vijf omlopen met dubbele stellen. Na in de boog bij Varsseveld te hebben gestaan werd weer naar het station gewandeld, waar ik ineens zag dat er 3 OV-fietsen aanwezig waren. Daarom besloot ik enkele overwegen af te fietsen in de hoop op nog een leuke combinatie. Helaas bleek het in deze tijd vrij lastig een schaduwvrije overweg te vinden op fietsafstand. Gelukkig vond ik nog een overweg waar ook nog iets meer te zien was dan alleen weiland. Toen de overweg begon te rinkelen bleek de aankomende trein te bestaan uit een van de drie nog aktieve rood/witte stellen gecombineerd met een stel in RRReis outfit. En zo zien we in een heerlijk winter zonnetje de 369 en 368 als trein 30942 naar Arnhem ter hoogte van Varsseveld passeren op 17 januari 2026.

CN 369 heads west with CN 2561, CN 8875 and 124 cars on a frigid winter day. In the distance, counterpart CN 368 is lined on the north track and beyond that, the headlight of CP F95 is barely visible.

Bagan is located on a broad plain along the Irrawaddy River some 500 km (311 mi.) north-northwest of Yangon, in the Mandalay Region, Myanmar. It became the capital of the Pagan Kingdom, which grew to encompass nearly all of present day Myanmar from the 9th to the 13th centuries. During that period some 1,000 stupas, 10,000 small temples, and 3,000 monasteries were built on the Plain of Bagan. Mongol invasions caused the kingdom to collapse in 1287. Subject to more than 400 earthquakes since 1904, much of Bagan's architecture has been lost.
In 2019, Bagan was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering an area of 50 sq. km (12,369 acres), UNESCO notes that the site includes "3,595 surviving monuments" and includes the Gawdawpalin Temple seen here. Construction began in 1203 by King Narapatisithu (aka Sithu II, ruled 1174-1211) and was completed in 1227 by King Htilominlo (ruled 1211-1235). The temple was severely damaged by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake which struck on 08 July 1975 and has since been repaired.

So mad! I had this super great necklace to use with this post, but dang it, I didn’t notice I wasn’t wearing it until I was completely finished editing the picture. I can’t help but both to laugh at myself and wonder if I’m loosing my mind. We are still going to roll with what we have though, because that’s all we can do.
