CN M369 is slowly picking up speed after grinding up Cedars Hill, passing the approach signals for eastbound train for Les Cèdres station. Cold temperatures along with a lack of rested crews, put many trains behind schedule, as it was the case for this 369 who barely catching the day's last hour of sunlight, rolling toward it's next crew change at Belleville, ON, some 200 miles to the west.

Quietly purring down to the promenade at Silverknowes, Liam gives a wave as I’m perched on one of those concrete war-time block thingys, and I’m not quite understanding as to why this road has been closed off to vehicular traffic, except buses? CP 369 led by ACus 7023 and 7055 bring grainer 369 into Crowsnest. The crew would tie the train down and take a taxi to the bunkhouse in Sparwood.
