The little model house has been in my possession since high school. It was for a school project. No idea why I still have it

A frosty morning means frozen grass so it was good to see these four chomping on their bale of hay in the sunshine.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many bars/restaurants are required by law to limit capacity limits of patrons, or utilize outdoor patio space if social distancing is not achievable inside. In spring of 2020, under Governor Tony Evers "Safer at Home" order, bars were required to shut down at the end of March through the end of May. These photos document this chapter in our city's history, some have been fortunate to make it through but for some this was the last call.

Still a bit grey and smokey so why not photograph something black & white.

Listening to Purple Rain on a Friday night at our local spot.

Stuck in traffic and playing with passing cars.

I'll be lugging this camera around for the better part of the next month or so. I'm excited/nervous to see my results. Loaded with the roll of Kodak TMAX 400, i'll be processing that film today (Sunday the 12th) so let's hope for a successful frame at least.

Waking up lost in an empty town.

I shoot photos like this for the journalistic appeal, yet I was called "morbid" by a couple passer-by's; what are your opinions? Also I nearly had another fisheye shot, until I was informed that it is termed "loitering" to hang out on top of a parking ramp on the Isthmus without written consent from the city of Madison parking officials! (as for the kind girl in the parking ramp who I hope finds my photos, thank you for the offer to be my "alibi")

The day got away from me, but fortunately, I have this quick snap of Jerry from this morning.

There's a lot going on across the border. These currants are a little easier to navigate.

Against the Sea

homecoming

I knew I was far from Southern California when I started to see definition in the clouds. I really hope someone, somewhere captured the beauty of this sunset that I had the blessing to take in from the sky.

Special thanks to Maureen Janson Heintz, for posting her photo and inspiring me to go get my own shot for the project. She has a book available on Amazon, "Ghost Signs of Madison, Wisconsin" detailing remnants of days gone by on the isthmus.

November the 20th I had surgery on my pinky, the surgeon wanted to be sure we got the finger back to the straight path after my fracture earlier in the month. I thought it would fun to have a photo for my own reference to look back on for the #366project contribution. It's not very apparent in the photo but Dr, was worried the pinky may heal improper and curl under the ring finger.
