I saw this refraction of bright colours through a wine glass done for Macro Monday the other week by Ian Vosloo. The theme that week was 'Opposites' and I just thought I would give it a try.

The longest night of the year coincides with the first day of winter, on this day we remember those who have lost there lives experiencing homelessness over the last year. It saddens me that we seem to build temporary shelters for those less fortunate but nothing long term ever seems to fully stick. Struggles this year for many, but not all on the same level. I have a deep friendship with many homeless downtown even though I've not lived there for five years now. It hits hard when you lose someone you don't seem to see often enough, take a walk in a different pair of shoes and you'll see.

Our weird weather continues, after a morning of sultry tropical heat we got a lot of rain around midday, the temperature fell but the humidity got even more clammy. As a loaded this photo they temperature has dropped but the rain has set in.

The boy in question, Archie, loves to speed along when he is called. He has featured in more than a few of my POTD over this year so I thought I would have one of him to recognise his great commitment to my 366 project.

Me encantan las puestas de sol, y hoy, si no en la hora azul, muy próxima a ella, he podido captar este precioso atardecer :)
