day 68/366: window
I was SO excited to have the windows open all day! It was gorgeous! (now we're back to dreary and rainy... :P )
Picture of the sky after a thunderstorm -- in *January*. We had fog, thunderstorms, hail and tornadoes after a weird day where it almost hit 70 F. Truly a bizarre day for weather, and while thankfully the tornadoes caused no deaths, they did damage property south of here.
Today we received a lovely personalised wedding invite from some good friends currently living in Oz. Big thanks to Lucy and Shane for inviting us to their special day and we are really looking forward to seeing them in a few months!
You have to love the Bank Holiday weekend and this particular one even more so since we got two Bank Holidays to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. This Bank Holiday Monday I visited my brother's house in Kent and we had a family BBQ to celebrate two birthdays - my niece's and sister-in-law's. Here is one of the birthday girls with one of her friends.
