Had a chance to sit the garden for a few minutes this morning to soak up some early rays and listen to the birds tweeting away. A very relaxing way to start the day.
This is number 316 so only 50 more to go!
Cuando les chimenees nun echen fumu nun valen más que pa esperar que'l Nuberu traiga bien de rayos y truenos
We had a day off today so with the sun shinning we decided to visit some nearby Kent gardens. Godington Gardens was a lovely place to visit and as it was a weekday it was very quiet and we felt we were one of the only people there at times. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the sun. This was one of the last photos of the day that I took before we left in front of one of the lovely ponds there.
I remember hearing the story of a teenager who asked a pro-basketball player what it took to become a pro. The basketball player told him he was too late; he needed to start when he was 4 or 5. They say it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert at anything. Basketball, Music, Flying, Leadership. There are only 8760 hours in a year so you can’t be done this year. Unfortunately becoming an expert takes discipline year in year out for years and years. Shooting for your goal takes practice, practice and more practice. 41 of #366
What a blustery rainy day to be driving a 1911 Rolls Royce up the Kaimais. Love how they are wearing full rain coats to keep dry in the car. Classic! 78 of #366
This morning I made my way to Ashford in Kent to house and dog sit for my brother. It was a nice sunny day and the drive was pretty good especially with my co-pilot Trev keeping me company :)
