Dear Nicholas,
OH! How lucky we all are that you haven't yet figured out the fact that if you flash those big eyes like that, none of us could ever say no to you!
I love getting big hugs and smooches on the cheek from you, and I like it when you ask for my help when you are playing video games (I have secretly been playing the zombie one when you are asleep). It makes me feel like the 'cool auntie'.
I love you and I am so happy to be here - seeing you grow up.
xx Jessica
I wasn't expecting to be able to shoot a hummingbird, so I had to scramble to get the settings right on the camera. I only had time for one shot before he flew away, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.
No, these are not standard adult courts. These are the ones that young kids use. I just couldn't get a good shot of the regular ones.

that moment when you want to read in bed instead of taking a photo so you take a photo of something you can reach from bed.
This is my first attempt at a 360 degree panorama. My camera has a setting to do this automatically, and I think this turned out pretty well.
I love the diversity of the people living in Birmingham and today I witnessed a very surreal event, watching the Filipino flag being raised outside the council house accompanied by their national anthem. Apparently it was all in celebration of the Phililpine declaration of independence day. Very nice to see.
Hydrangea are blue when they grow in acidic soil. In neutral soil they stay white, and in basic soil they are pink.
It was the start of the extra long Bank Holiday weekend and what better way to start than with celebrating a friend's Wedding. I was honoured to have been asked to be one of the photographers and this is one of my favourite shots of the day. Congrats to the happy couple!
