The boys LOVE to pull my pj pant strings.
They LOVE it and think it's FUNNY.
As do I.
We always have A LOT of fun pretending to be a choo choo train.
Gotta LOVE it!
Happy Sunday!

For an assignment - subject of choice, with particular attention to colour, light, and point of view. I'm handing in the one on the left, and also gave you an outtake from the shoot!

Been working *really* hard on starting up the handmade card thing... Made one for Chris's boss for her birthday and I guess it was popular, so I'm doing a variety of different cards and selling them in packs of five. My favorite is the "get well" card... I'll try to post later, but I have a giant list of to-do's that are more important. Don't hate ;D
Prior to taking this photo I used my Cricut Personal Cutter thediecut.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/cricut.jpg to cut the shapes I wanted, and set the Quantity to 21. A Cricut will die-cut any shape, provided you have the cartridge that has the desired shape you want. They have everything: font cartridges, every holiday ever, 50's theme, pets/animals, gardening, etc. Everyone needs a Cricut, I swear! The machine cuts the layers of the shape you want, and you use a glue-dot roller to put the layers together to create a shape. Example: 1.bp.blogspot.com/_oYXC-7dKT4Y/TCopLwMpraI/AAAAAAAABAU/Y_... Each color in the image is a separate layer. Make sense? Just Google some how-to videos and you'll see. It really is fascinating.
In this photo I'm making "Get Well" cards to add to the five-pack. The five-pack will include, with envelopes: 2 birthday cards, 1 get-well card, 1 thinking of you card, and 1 other kind that I haven't thought of yet. Suggestions?
Late Upload.
I felt a bit apathetic about coming back to Minnesota for Thanksgiving, I knew a lot had changed and a lot of things in my life have shifted around, thus felt it was all just a blur [also knowing I only have like 3 weeks in Chicago left unless I find money for spring] I needed to just settle in and feel like I can start adapting to it. I needed to experience the changes first had to figure out how to handle it.

100 days!! I honestly didn’t think I’d get this far. I’m really proud of myself and excited to keep going!
My last day at work is Wednesday and I got a little sad on my way in today. Tomorrow is my last 11 hr day, and my last shift with Kara. Feeling lots of things! Once I’m done I’ll be able to really process it all. Until then, a lot of nervous energy!
Just watched "Inland Empire" and I love David Lynch's use of lighting, it inspires a lot of my work I guess... I love dramatic shadows
Mmmmmm...brussel sprouts....don'tcha just love 'em?? Although, i have to admit they do smell a bit like feet.

"Zhong Guo Nian!"
I was planning to go to the Chinese New Year Festival today and take my first 365 photo there, but I just got home from a weekend trip to Rome last night, and dragging myself out of bed was practically impossible! =P
So here's my panda Appy and I schnuggled up in a red blanket instead. The theme's still there, and I didn't even have to get out of bed! =) As we say here in Ireland: nice one.
2 of 2. For some reason only select outlets were receiving power. I set up SP and set the timer and my mom was like "what's that noise?" and then she looked at me and said "Is that you?" and that is what I am looking at here. lol.
Sorry for the weak treatment. I'm in one of those ruts again where I don't feel like putting any effort at all in to the photo.
