This was one of the 8 whales swimming around the Zodiak we where in. The boat was shut off just bobbing in the water. One of the benefits of living in this wonderful part of the country as well as belonging to Camera 35.

35 1097 rollte am 1.Tag des 5.Dresdner Dampfloktreffens mit offenen Zylinderhähnen auf Drehscheibe des Bw Dresden-Altstadt.
I bought this in early September, and it it quickly become one of my favorite travel cameras. You can hear more about the Trip 35 on the latest FPP podcast!
35/365: Took this shot at Cold Storage @ Green Heights Mall this morning before I was approached by the guards in the supermarket. Seems like its the norm these days. Maybe I should just switch back to my nifty PnS and shoot away unnoticed. =P
Anyway, I gladly kept my dSLR back into the bag without putting up a fight - for I've already snapped to my heart's content! =D
The Motormarine 35 is a scale-focusing camera from Sea & Sea said to be waterproof to a depth of 150 feet. Later versions offered an enlarged viewfinder; but the early 35 did surpass its successors in having an f/2.8 taking lens.
Images of the camera are a bit deceptive, as it is surprisingly large and sturdily built in real life.
For serious dive photography, the plug on the clear back door would be replaced by a coupler for attaching an external waterproof strobe.
