NS 331 crawls into the Yard through Mini Plant with BNSF 7217 leading the way. NS 331 is a daily mixed freight from NS's Yard in Detroit (Oakwood) to Bellevue, OH. Also of interest is the still standing Bellevue Tower.

When I saw Willie, I just loved the light. And when I made my move, he had no reservations about being photographed. Willie was born and raised in Macon, and attended three high schools including Central, where my Granddaughter is now a freshman. There are seven high schools in Macon, so a lot of folks have attended Central.
When I asked him not to smiles, the smile got a bit less pronounced. Finally I said, “You just can't not smile, can you?” Willie said, “No man, it's my birthday. I'm 50 today.” Well, THAT'S a good reason!

So, this is my first photo for my collaboration with Korinne. Our theme is book series- hers is Divergent by the amazing Veronica Roth, and mine is The Mortal Instruments by the brilliant Cassandra Clare. Both of them are amazing series, I would recommend them to anyone. Unfortunately, Korinne's photo can't be up for awhile, so we decided that I would just post, since I've been holding this one for awhile.
I'm doing a photo for every book that is currently out in The Mortal Instruments, but I'm doing them out of order, unfortunately. This is for City of Glass, the third installment, and for anyone who has read the book, Rachel is portraying Clary here. I even tried to make her hair red. :)

Eguisheim es una localidad y comuna de Francia del departamento del Alto Rin (Haut-Rhin), en la región de Alsacia y lugar de nacimiento del Papa León IX.
Eguisheim es una localidad productora de vinos de la denominación AOC Alsace Grand Cru con dos sitios:
•Eichberg
•Pfersigberg
Por su atractivo turístico, el pueblo ha sido distinguido por la asociación Les plus beaux villages de France.
El nombre de la ciudad significa "habitación de Egino", nombre germánico. De hecho, el duque Eberhard fundó, en el año 720, el castillo de Eguisheim, así llamado en homenaje a su primo carnal Egino.
En el asentamiento romano de Eguisheim se desarrolló de manera pionera desde el siglo IV el cultivo de la vid en Alsacia.
El nieto del III Duque de Alsacia, el conde Eberhardt, ordenó la construcción de la primera de las fortalezas que rodean la población desde el siglo VIII y la reconstrucción del castillo existente en el centro de la población, formada por calles concéntricas a su alrededor.
En el año 1009 nace en Eguisheim Bruno de Eguisheim-Dagsbourg, obispo de Toul quien sería nombrado por la iglesia católica papa, con el nombre de León IX y más tarde santificado.
A principio del siglo XIII la población pasó a las manos del obispado de Estrasburgo, padeciendo sucesivamente los efectos de la epidemia de peste general de la Europa medieval y los daños de la guerra de los treinta años. (WIKIPEDIA)

The kids absolutely love this board game, it's really quick and soon gets catastrophic when the tower starts to wobble.
The production value is pretty low, but if we ever lost this I'd buy it again in a heart beat.
