It amazes me how much detail is in an eye! I was also quite surprised to see that small amount of yellow in my eye. I messed around with contrast, but I didn't adjust the colors at all.
I've never really tried anything high key before, so I figured I would give it a go. I'm pleased with the results.
Throughout my whole 365 I've been pretty good and I haven't complained about Flickr over sharpening images... But I just have to say something with this one... It's a little over the top...

The tall, majestic trees of Vancouver's north shore block our view of the western sun set. So instead, we turn our eyes eastward to catch the blazing sun reflecting off the houses atop Capitol Hill in Burnaby. I feel like I am in a far away, exotic land when I see this.

the tree is up. that's about it. i had so many plans to have all my christmas decorations up before i went back to work this week. but that's how life rolls sometimes. and i am totally OK with it.

What a contrast in the weather from yesterday. Today was a complete washout. Spent it in front of the TV watching archaeology documentaries, so not all bad.
