i got this mask yesterday. i thought it would be the best thing for self portraits. i was right.
i only ever wear loads of makeup when im messing about for my sp of the day. its so much fun :)

Went to church today for morning service. Then went to Anca's house and had lunch with her family. We got to editing photos after that and we caught up with all our photo work. Went to evening church service after that and came home after and am about to start a long night of homework. Two more weeks and the semester is over! I can not wait!
I transferred to a new elementary school in grade 6 and was put in a grades 5 and 6 split class so I ended up making younger friends. Grade 7 I met more people my age but with only a year to know them and having already made most of my friends in a younger grade I didn’t bother to get to know many people. It left me in an awkward place in highschool. Eventually I got over my xenophobia and as it would happen I got to meet one of the people from my elementary school during highschool. While I couldn’t pinpoint the exact moment we met I don’t think we really got to know each other until later on when we shared a class or two, or during the period that she was dating one of my friends.
I’d see Kayla around often enough during that time but things fade and so did the amount I saw her. It wasn’t until recently that Ryan helped us reconnect and take some shots. They had it planned but for me it was kind of sporadic that we all ended up going iceskating later that day. We followed that up with powering through over half of Madoka Magica which left me bewildered that I hadn’t come across it before seeing as how amazing it is. The day was great as was catching up and I’m even more glad that I still have people in my life who I can talk about my closeted love for anime with.
