Day three hundred and thirty-one: This is exhausting me. She knows, she keeps asking if I'm okay and tells me how sad I seem. This needs to stop, because I can't be pulled around. And bro, I'm a cool girl, I can understand things and I'm pretty chill, but seriously? I don't know. At all.
She leaves Wednesday for seven weeks. It hit me last night. I'm going to miss her so much. It's going to hurt and I don't honestly know how I'm going to deal.

Had a good day yesterday, not stuck in front of the screen for a change. For our portfolio we have to submit some films made around/about the city, its very free and loose and its a case of just getting them done so Connor and I headed out during the day and filmed away... see above for them! Had fun doing it and one was a bit more serious but I think it came out quite well, met a very nice chap called Alan who was incredibly interesting!
In the evening I worked the bar with my baking buddy, was very quiet with everyone doing revision but it was nice, cracked out some motown on the sound system and had a few drinks... picked up towards the end of the evening but was all very chill.
Snapped this whilst we were making our vids, felt pretty confident during the day as it was so busy so I just went for shots I might not normally. This was the best of the bunch I think.
Work today but maybe a coffee cake will be baked in the evening! :)

It's been 5 day since i've posted for my 365 super frustrated with my self. Lately i haven't had will or energy to lug my gear out an take interesting pictures an all the photos i do think of i feel like are half assed...... since i only have 30+ days to go i feel the need to put out quality more than quantity but all the ideas i have seem like shit!

Citybus Hong Kong Leyland Olympian 331 FK5095 loads passengers for another run on the 88R. When this bus was new it was trailed in London with a view to introducing high quality air-con buses onto some London Transport routes- needless to say that didn't happen.
For me it feels too early for full blown Christmas images. I'm easing into the season slowly, trying to appreciate the stillness and calm anticipation that is Advent. I did put a few decorations up today though - the star is on the Hopper!

Well Charissa volunteered to wear the hat for me today. It’s actually my husband’s hat and Charissa doesn’t play the guitar but we thought this all looked kind of cool together with the snow falling.
Today I noticed that sparkleplenty completed her 365, I also realized today that she’s married to JordyR. I read both their posts today and was struck by how much he encouraged her in her journey of photography and ultimately her journey of discovering more of who she is. I think I was struck by this so much because my husband has encouraged me as well. I haven’t done a year of selfies but a number of the selfies I’ve taken my husband has helped me. And any time that my shots didn’t go as planned or if I was having a hard time getting my minds picture into the camera and I’d get frustrated, I’m sad to say my husband would get the brunt of it. The pressure of getting the right shot, at the expense of what. So at times he’s put up with a lot and I keep telling myself the next one will be different and even if the shot isn’t working out, I’ll work on my attitude and not take everything out on him. I know this is an area where I need to change and when I read Jordy and sparkleplenty’s posts it really hit me and I thought to myself okay, I have thirty-four more days to try and do it right. I guess what it comes down to is working as a team and when things don’t work out you don’t take it out on your teammate, you try and solve the problem together. And so maybe that’s the root of my problem, I try and do life alone and I don’t always accept the help or input of my husband especially when things aren’t working out. It’s like in life the times I should most need him and go to him for help/support are the times when I pull away into myself and try and do it alone.
So even though I don’t know Jordy or sparkleplenty and haven’t really followed their steams a whole lot, I’m thankful that today I read their posts and was encouraged to try and do better with my husband the next time he comes out to help me…because that is my heart.
Photoshoot I did with two wonderfull ladies by the name of Christina and Stephanie while I was visiting Texas. They were so fun to work with!
