This was nothing like the photo I had intended to get when I set out for my photo of the day. Not long after I got into the car I scrapped my idea and decided to wing it. I cranked up the music and opened the windows and headed down into New Mexico. It was wicked windy there (yes I am from New England) and I had a barbed wire fence right behind me that I kept getting blown into.. no big deal just a few rips in my shirt.. but the thing that freaked me out was the fact that as soon as I was done and out of my "got to get a good shot" mode I noticed all the snake holes around me!! I need to start wearing boots when I go anywhere around here!
I have really started to notice how much time and effort go into a 365. Trying something new like this is so different once you have a family. I want to learn so much but I keep having to slow myself down. I know I have said it a few times already but I just want to give people credit for finishing this project. I have a lot of respect for the people who inspired me to start this and had grown so much through the project and now I have an even greater respect for them!
for WAH - I am not sure if it quite meets the description but its what I got on a Friday evening. Off to Southampton tomorrow, weather permitting, for another Uni visit

At dusk just before the sun goes down around here, the sun turns the fields into this deep, rich, gold color. I set this up as a landscape shot that happens to have Bella in it. The light is all natural in this shot.

Here they are at the beach, Ludo loves chasing Coby and trying to steal the stick from him, Coby just wants to retrieve the stick from the water.
My daughter is off to university in a few weeks , trying to get as many pics of her as i can before she leaves :(

One of the primary responsibilities of the FT-32 is the transportation of the FT-200 Series labs and equipment. The 200 Series labs were built to be transported, and the FT-32 has the power to handle the massive load.

The Futuron set, Stardefender "200," is one of the iconic sets of the Classic Space era. And while I new I had to update it at some point, I was never sure the purpose of those pods on the side. Well, here is my interpretation. Enjoy.

Last year, I said 2012 was going to be a great year for me. I set lofty goals and had high expectations for myself.
And then I met them all. Each and every one of them.
So this year I'll be going all out. Bigger plans, bigger dreams, bigger goals.
One of those goals is to finish and publish Heroic Scale, a photobook about my little gaming models by May 1st. Game on!

I met Rob after hearing him play some pretty mean guitar solos while busking near Lincoln Cathedral. he told me he'd been playing guitar for about 10 years so he ought to be better than he was. I would put California State Route 32 up against about any highway I've ever driven on in the "scenic drive" category when the big leaf maples along Deer Creek get in their fall colors! Maybe standing on the double yellow to photograph it isn't the best idea but I did find a "longish" straight-away to get in the middle of so I could watch for traffic in both directions on this early November day.
