just the other day i started gardening with an elder lady who lives alone in an awesome mansion in a really nice part on Jersey. She has a strong german accent and is very fun to work with. I'm finally making the money that i need and it feels good to be able to fill my tank up and go wherever i want to take photos : ) this was right on my way home from working with her and it was sososososo hot. About 80 degrees. I love exploring new places.

Meet @lindsayanders6989! I’ve never met her up until this afternoon and I must say that I had the best time getting to know her and being given the opportunity to take her portrait! She said that when she saw @deniseelaine’s portrait which I took earlier on, she also wanted to get her portrait taken during this 90 day challenge— pretty stoked that she did because I think I just made a cool new friend this afternoon. Lindsay’s a passionate musician, I will not lie when I say that I have not heard her play yet before but I am definitely looking forward to catching her shows in the very near future. We share pretty similar things as artists, much like me she believes that she is also her own worst critic. Similarly, we also agreed that progress in whatever it is that we’re doing is a constant process.
We took this portrait in between my @saskjazz assignment at the Bessborough this afternoon. It’s funny because we actually mixed up where we were supposed to meet initially. But it all worked out! It’s nice to finally have some rays of sun outdoors again after what has been a pretty smokey week.
