Dusty still isn't the best swimmer. But, he is making some progress and his confidence has been growing (I don't know why, though - he's still terrible. lol).
I've taken Dash and Dusty to a nearby river which feeds into the ocean. Monday, Dusty will get a real taste of the beach and surf. I've been a bit hesitant to let him loose after his shenanigans at the RV park, where he thought running away from me for over an hour was funny.
I did take Dash to the ocean beach by himself on Thursday. Dash had spent a good deal of his first two years at the Oregon Coast. To say that I have never seen a happier dog is not an understatement. He ran and ran and ran in circles in and out of the surf. He was so joyful that several people stopped just to watch and share in his joy.

Kicking of my second month with more camera rotation.
These are good at the moment as they are easy to set up and can be shot sat down.
Old PCB shot converted into a bitmap, rotated the camera with two play throughs for one 360 spin. Tripod swap for the blade rotation in the middle.
Lightpainting Brushes modded mini circle blade for the central rotation.

How to drive a border collie insane: repeatedly ask him if he's "Ready?". Ready for what exactly, nobody really knows but of course, any self-respecting border collie is always ready for anything, so it doesn't really matter anyway! Asking Flynn if he's "Ready?" results in a lot of awfully excited skipping about from paw to paw, running backwards & forwards, hopping up & down & woofing. Silly pup ;-)
