It is my first time and trying the street photography. Its a bit wierd, but I like it. I was in the Philly train station on 30th street and had an hour to kepp for my train. I like the image, but may I should have added a little bit of noise to the image to add that grit feel to it.
The last day of November, and in my wanderings post work shoot I found a new location (for me) - Loch Farr.
I need to spend some good time working this one at some stage as it looks to have some potential.
There were many breathtaking, beautiful views at Maelstrom - LalieSorbet and Chrix's LEA installation - but this one from underwater was my favourite.
Visit Maelstrom at SLEA6 and make sure you deep dive.

The Lake District has become very quiet over the past week, the lock down is taking effect and most people seem to have accepted that they need to stay home to beat this virus. I hadn't taken the truck our for a long while so came home from the shop the slightly longer way to give it a wee bit of a run and grabbed a quick panoramic en route.
Lichfield TV Junction Signal Box seen here on the 30th May 2008 is a London and North Western Railway (LNWR) Type 4 signal box and houses a 45 lever LNWR tumbler mechanical frame. It is situated on the South Staffordshire Line between Wichnor Junction and Lichfield City.
Following the May 2008 works associated with the Trent Valley Four Track Project it now works Track Circuit Block (TCB) to Aston Signalling Control Centre (SCC), Absolute Block to Alrewas Signal box and TCB to Rugby SCC on the cord to the West Coast Main Line.
I had previously photographed this box twenty nine years earlier (see first comment) and structurally little has changed apart from a new steel staircase.
Back to normal routine today. We went to Monday monkeys and Josh slept lots - he's as tired as me after last week I think!
Timing is everything they say. A “tip run” with a car load of rubbish to the local tip/recycling centre at Beeston was required so a quick check on the internet to see what was about I timed the run to enable a quick visit to Boots bridge, Beeston for two eastbound freights, the second being 60063 working 6E02, 12:46 Toton – Boston steel 30th October 2019.
Locomotive History
60063 was built at the Brush Falcon works, Loughborough in 1991 and was officially accepted by British Rail in June 1991, allocated to Cardiff Canton MPD for petroleum duties. It was first stored on the 29th November 2006 but reinstated a month later. Since then it has been in and out of store a further eight times until taken into Toton in October 2011 for a General overhaul. It emerged at the beginning of March 2012 and following a couple of test runs and a repaint into DB Schenker red was reinstated to traffic on the 8h March 2013.

Great Western Railway pannier tank 5764 arrives at Highley with a train from Kidderminster, 30th May 2009.
Locomotive History
5764 was built in 1929 at Swindon works and owes its survival into preservation on being sold by British Railways on withdrawal in May 1960 to London Transport. It became L94 in the London Transport fleet and survived another eleven years until withdrawn in 1971. 5764 is a member of the 863 strong 57xx 0-6-0PT class, making them the second most produced British class of steam locomotive. The Great Western Railway had favoured Pannier Tank locomotives since 1911 when they had started rebuilding locomotives built between 1870 and 1905 into this style. By 1929 these older locomotives were in need of replacement. 5764 is one of the earlier engines of the class fitted with the original cab design and as far as I can tell, spent all its working life before preservation in London either allocated to Old Oak Common or Neasden when a London Transport engine.
When I was about 6 years old I ran away from home taking my wagon, my sleeping bag and my globe (for a map). I was at my friend Roni's house watching The Wizard of Oz. My plan was to live there. I had left my wagon on Roni's front porch and soon Roni's mother was on the phone with my mom. They agreed to let me think I was getting away with something. So my parents let me stay until The Wizard of Oz was over and then we were getting tired and ready for bed. Next thing you know there were my parents and they took me back home. Of course my desire to run away only lasted so long and I was glad to be right back with my family. On my 30th birthday my mother had found a miniature wagon, a globe pencil sharpener and a piece of fabric that almost matched my sleeping bag print. Well, she put them all together as a reminder of that time I tried not so successfully to run away. I treasure it. I'm 52 now and I still have it.

Northern 150204 has just got the road into the Down side “carriage sidings (CS)” having worked empty stock from Newton Heath, 30th January 2018.
Unit History
150204 is one of the final batch of eighty five class 150 two-car units which were built at York in 1986/87 and are now over thirty years old. They had different interiors and front end gangways to the earlier class 150/1 units and were used on longer-distance services. The end gangways make them very similar in appearance to later batches of the electric class 317 units, also based on the Mark III bodyshell. 150204 was initially allocated to Newton Heath and was disbanded in the early 1990’s and the two vehicles used as “centre” vehicles to form three car 150/0 units (150012 and 150014) for Birmingham area suburban duties. These three car units were disbanded in 2012 and 150204 reformed and transferred to Newton Heath. I first came across 150204 on the 19th December 1988 at Derby.

I celebrated my 30th B-day with a short-notice trip south towards coal country. An overnight drive allowed the girlfriend and I to be in position for early morning action on the Indiana Sub. I'm quite late to the party to this part of the world, but this brief morning gave me enough of a taste.

The Trans Am models of Pontiac's Firebird have always appeared flamboyant in addition to having the line's higher powered engines. This one is the 30th Anniversary model of the Trans Am package as indicated on the placard. To me, the styling of this version seemed overdone specifically those multiple 'nostril'-like scoops on the hood and bumper. It was obviously styled for a certain market segment within a certain era.
