Shot this great German Triumph biker at Köterberg back in 2012 June 30. Köterberg is a well known biker spot, with more than 500 bikers pr. day in weekends and holidays. In the distance of 2 hours ride, is there many millions people living. You will find it in The Weser Valley where there are so many roads with turns and curves, a genuine biker area. Situated in the triangle Hannover to the north east, Paderborn to the west and Kassel to the south.

LSE57 30 rolls over the bridge over Rock Creek at Kimmswick, MO. There are a few trees next to the bridge that need to be homicided, and they are on my hit list.

{ Gratitude Day 2 : Memories }

Halloween is a fun time for many kids. Who doesn't want to dress up as whoever or whatever they would like? Many of us still dress up as adults! That said, I am thankful for the Halloween memories I made as a child -- that will last a lifetime. Now I get to live vicariously through my daughter!

PS- Aside from the tone shift to give this a *little* more warmth, this image is SOOC :)

I love to take photos of my flowers. I'm never disappointed. My 50mm was my fav lens but when it broke I purchased the 40mm to give me a bit more room. I love this lens. So easy to take a beautiful photo.

Ancient Aphrodisias...was once a thriving Hellenic and Roman city in what is now modern day Turkey. Today it is an archaeological site, whose ruins include the remains of a beautiful ancient stadium. Established during the late Hellenistic period, Aphrodisias became a prosperous city under Roman rule from the 1st to the 5th century AD. In the 1st century BC, the city came under the personal protection of the Roman Emperor Augustus and many of the structures which can still be seen today date from that period and the following two centuries. The city became an artistic centre as a result of its location near a marble quarry; the city is now littered with sculpture. Artists even travelled to Aphrodisias to take part in annual sculpting competitions. However the city fell to ruin after a series of earthquakes and was eventually abandoned in the 12th century. Upon arrival to the ruins you will be greeted by the renovated Tetrapylon, a gateway of Corinthian style columns decorated with reliefs of the god Eros and goddess Nike. The Temple of Aphrodite would have been in the busy heart if the city. Originally over forty columns of the temple would have stood, a number of which have been realigned today, giving a great sense of the scale of the original building. The Temple was converted into a Basilica in the 5th century AD with the Roman conversion to Christianity. The stadium, dating as a far back as the 1st century BC, is beautifully preserved and is one of the biggest ancient constructions still surviving with a capacity of 30,000. There is also an onsite museum featuring thousands of pieces of Aphrodisian art including busts, decorative and religious sculpture, ceramics and a unique figure of the goddess Aphrodite herself. Other features of the ruins include the Odeon, the baths of Hadrian and the 8,000-seater ancient theatre which was adapted for gladiatorial combat in the Roman period. Also, look out for some of the over 2,000 Roman inscriptions still decipherable around the ruin.

I saw Indigo as I walked into Carnaby street and although she was deep in conversation with a friend I butted into ask if I could take a shot . She said she'll give me a couple of minutes which this was the best of the shots I took

"There's No Place Like Home".

Dorothy Gale

My house is a Mess. I'm not kidding, like a big messy mess. Laundry, papers, dare I say...soap scum? My life feels a bit upside down right now, I've been so busy with photo clients ( which is awesome) that I've had no time to clean. But you know what no one minds. My kids don't notice, my husband doesn't care.And at the end of the day, I"m still so happy when I get here, home. I snuggle in with my family, my little parliament ( that's an owl family)

and its lovely. I'm happy that I have a home to call home. In a month or two the hustle and bustle will settle, and all will be clean again. Dorothy was right. There really is no place like home.

Day 4:30 Thankful for my home

I'm photographing a wedding this weekend (my nerves) and then my husband is whisking me off for a romantic night away for our 12th wedding anniversary. He's even helping me with the wedding, he offered to be there, especially cause it's our anni weekend and he wanted to be with me. So much to be thankful for!!

I will try to post my photos!!

Happy Friday!!!
