Reflection.
This last image in my 30 day challenge was shot through the windows at night, where I worked with out of focus Christmas lights at my son in the window reflection sitting 5 meters away and watching Netflix.
I hope you have enjoyed my 30 images with the nifty-fifty lens, which is a very capable piece of glass that can be used in many situations.

couldnt decide on colour or b&w so i decreased the vibrance slider a bit!!
A beautiful afternoon but chilly!!
And just like that, my time at the Anderson Ranch has come to a close.
I have learned so much and made such good friends in a matter of week; I feel like my head is going to explode.
With all this new knowledge and skill, stay tuned for more awesome art, particularly when I go back to school in a few weeks.

Abandoned home about two blocks from my place on Camano Island. It may not look so spooky in this shot, but the roof is half caved in and grounds overgrown. I walk by it on my way to the beach and at night it is spooky. Happy Halloween.
btw: these trees are the stand of trees that appear in the shots in my set My View.
for the "30 secrets in 30 days" group- on occasion when i'm really relaxed (or after a few drinks) some people have noticed a distinct change in my speech. specifically an accent. we were stationed in georgia during the time i started speaking, and stayed there for a while. in addition, my biological father had acquired one, too. AND he had a fondness for country music (which made my ears hurt.) so i had an accent for a long time. after years of moving back up north, i lost it. most of the time only traces of it show up in the way i pronounce a word or two, but sometimes my brain just lets go and i start getting funny looks from people.
