As usual the time keeping on service 30 is rather unpredictable, only a few minutes behind vehicle 16 is Lothian vehicle 30 not stopping on its way on service 30 to Clovenstone. 01st August 2014.

Veracity Wethernot and her daughter Patch were enjoying a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon on the terrace.
Patch: Mum?
Veracity: Yes pumpkin?
Patch: Do I like porridge?
Veracity: No love, you loathe porridge. Why do you ask?
Patch: It says here that if I send 30 lids of porridge boxes, I will receive a free catapult...
Veracity: I see...well that's too bad then...
Patch sighs
Patch: ....Mum?
Veracity: ...no pumpkin, I don't like porridge either...
Patch: ah. Now that's too bad too...
Con este modelito no es plan de salir a la calle de día. No pega... Quizá alguna noche para ir a tomar algo...
With this outfit it's not appropriate to go outside during the day. No suitable ... Maybe one night to go for a drink ...
Went for a 10 km run at lunchtime. Temperature was +15 C (59 F) in Cornwall. Snow melting quickly today. Quite a difference from the -37 C temperature last week. Felt strange running in a shirt and shorts in January.

37086 gently vibrates the platform as it waits for the clock to tick round to 13.30. The train will then depart for the shortish run to Leeds. Although the station is still imposing BR's policy of "neglect and it will go away" is evident, particularly in that half of the station name board is missing on one of the main platforms.
37086 was a product of Robert Stephenson & Hawthorn Ltd, it went new to Gateshead on 28/12/1962 as D6786. it became 37086 under TOPS and was again renumbered 37516, 01/04/1987. it was withdrawn from West Coast Railway Company 30/09/2008 and sent to C.F. Booth, Rotherham where it was cut 31/01/2009
