Frisco westbound freight "QSF" behind U30b, two SD45's (833-900-915)...the result of chasing the train into the sunset with a friend who at the time was working an operator's job at Frisco's Altus depot. No doubt the Red-Tailed Hawks, like the one that Danial Longley so expertly painted, are active in the fragrant prairie dusk, looking for quarry other than this.
A bunch of snow geese who were a little alarmed at passing events (Sounds from people hunting on other side of island - that's what brought this group in some time previously, I think - and a few eagles in the vicinity doing fly-bys.). Not enough to take off, but some of them were doing an occasional flap from the water.
Eindelijk eindeloos blauwe luchten, maar door de werkzaamheden tussen Zwolle en Meppel en door een schijnbaar coronavrij evenementje aan de kust geen interessante trein in zicht.... dan maar een plekje dat ik nog niet had gedaan bij Zalk op de Hanzelijn.
Vele geel is er nog niet te zien op SNG rond Zwolle lijkt het, al zal dat niet lang meer duren. De 3018 lijkt echter graag hier te zijn... nu weer als trein 14639 uit Amsterdam op de Hanzelijn bij Zalk.
