Comeng rail car 3003 has just crossed the Standard gauge crossover which provides access t the rear of Islington Workshops. H3 stands in the workshop yard and waits clearance to cross the suburban lines and return to SCT's freight yard.

62 of these new M5000 Metrolink Trams are on order for the expanding network in Manchester, Some of which are seeing use on the Eccles route. These are built by Bombardier Transportation, and are a High Floor version of the ones operated by Croydon Tramlink. 3003 is seen at Piccadilly station having arrived from Eccles.

I picked this up recently at a local camera fair. I am not sure if I actually like it but it is certainly unusual. 35mm SLR with eye level and built in waist level finders. Powered wind-on built into the detachable film cassette.This one is in great condition and fully working. I did have access to the 'Metric' version through work back in the early 90's.
