Conrail 3003, a NYC vintage GP40, leads the APL stack train East at Carson on the east side of Canisteo, NY on May 4, 1986. I did not write down the symbol, but the Eastbound stack train was usually either TV202 or TV302.
Western Pacific GP35 #3003 and Union Pacific SD40-2 #3697 head out of Union Pacific's East Yard in Los Angeles in July of 1983. They are just starting the run down to the Harbor with a loaded coal train and passing Hobart Tower. Santa Fe's mainline West of their yard is seen in the foreground.

Bobry.

The bridge over the Warta River in Bobry is one of the few picturesque places along this part of the Viennese. The late afternoon sun, which on the one hand illuminates the train and on the other creates a long shadow, makes this place ideal for photographing trains. captured exactly in such conditions, the modernized "kibel" goes towards Częstochowa, leaving behind the p.o. Bobry.
CP 3003 was built in May 1970 for Canadian Pacific, and has spent its whole career working for the original Canadian Transcontinental railroad. It's an uncommon GP38AC, one of just 21 on CPKC's roster.
Last painted in early 2005, its Action Red paint has seen better days. But the locomotive still puts in the work, seen here switching a grain elevator alongside Alyth Yard in Calgary.

WP EMD GP35 3003 “The Great Pumpkin” is seen from the cab of a WP F7 in the diesel service tracks at the WP Stockton shops. The 3003 was the only GP to ever wear the simplified “Pumpkin” paint scheme which was common on the yard switchers and F units.

Lenape is one of my go-to locations for shooting westbounds in the evening from the ground. This particular evening I was able to catch one of the 100 or so SD70AHT-4's that UP has in some prime light.
This resulted in me high-tailing it to Turkey Creek to get ahead of him and shoot him one more time. I posted that shot a couple days ago.
