Allá por el siglo I a.C, cuando a la península ibérica se debatía entre la civilización romana y la barbarie celtíbera, los comerciantes asiáticos ya intercambiaban productos con occidente por la Ruta de la Seda. 3000 años después, aquel fructífero negocio sigue funcionando con un trayecto similar. Solo que esta vez es el caballo de hierro, que pasa raudo y veloz por Quintanapalla con su carga procedente de China con destino Madrid.
The last time I did a 365, I was going through a very turbulent, personal, emotional time. My "rock" at that time was my dog Shorty. He wasn't just my dog, he was my friend and my therapist. He helped me in ways he never knew, and I'm glad I took pictures of him during that year.

I lost Shorty a couple of years ago. While there is no "replacing" a dog as special as him, Addie is just as special to me in her own unique way. Like Shorty, she is my friend and my therapist. I know that, no matter how shitty my day is, all I have to do is get home and know that she is REALLY happy to see me. Makes everything else kind of inconsequential.

La particolarità di questa stazione sciistica è che, in qualsiasi punto ti trovi, puoi scendere a sino a valle con gli sci senza prendere impianti. Da questa terrazza panoramica si gode di una vista incomparabile. Un gracchio alpino compie le sue evoluzioni senza muovere le ali, semplicemente sfruttando le termiche ascensionali.

The Austin-Healey 3000 is a British sports car built from 1959 to 1967. It is the best known of the "big Healey" models. The car's bodywork was made by Jensen Motors and the vehicles were assembled at BMC's MG Works in Abingdon, alongside the corporation's MG models.
During its production life, the car transitioned from an open sports car, albeit with a child-transporting 2+2 option, to a sports convertible.
In 1963, 91.5 per cent of all Austin-Healey 3000 cars were exported; mostly to North America.
The 3-litre 3000 was a highly successful car, which won its class in many European rallies in its heyday and is still raced in classic car competitions by enthusiasts today.
British Leyland ended manufacture in 1967, intending its place to be filled by a car with a new, though similar, engine in a more recently designed monocoque MGB variant named MGC.

The chemin de fer Lanaudière is heading to Joliette (to interchange with the Québec-Gatineau Railway) with 3 tank cars and 2 hoppers on a sunny morning. CFL stands for chemin de fer Lanaudière (i.e. Lanaudière Railroad).

RS-18 CFL 3000 is heading back to the head end of its train after lifting two hoppers at a mill in its hometown of Saint-Félix-de-Valois. CFL stands for chemin de fer Lanaudière (i.e. Lanaudière Railroad) and they run the 8.6 miles from Saint-Félix-de-Valois to Joliette (to interchange with the Québec-Gatineau Railway) a couple of times a week (even less outside of winter is my understanding).
