My first blacklight portrait of the year, and with my new paints! It's a pain to shoot blacklight portraits without an assistant, but I managed it. If you're curious about why one side of my face is so dark, all I can say is that you'd better wear sunscreen next summer, because the stuff WORKS! Next week, natural light, and maybe even color!

So, I'm finally posting headshots of Rafael... There are several, (dunno how many yet) opinions welcome!
About the subject: Was out buying some beers when I saw this guy walking on the street with a bunch of screws sticking out of his leg... went back, took my camera and 24-70 and came back to where he was. Turns out his name is Rafael, and he was hit & run by a car February 2006. Was hospitalized for 8 months, and still has some way to go before recovering completely.
