Nice walk up Blackden Clough today after a mission to find a parking spot.
The kids loved it as we had to jump the river about 4 times and they had a great adventure.
We shall return and travel further along the "path"

285 111 ist mit dem Rheinkalk-Pendel aus dem Dresdner Alberthafen in Richtung Bad Schandau unterwegs. Kurz vor Königstein passiert sie ein altes Bahnwärterhäuschen.

Normalerweise bestreiten die Loks der Baureihe 187, am häufigsten die mit der Nummer 011 ihren Dienst vor den meiner Meinung nach schicken Ganzzügen aus Wechselbrücken von Smartrail zwischen Emden und Dresden. Anfang August 2020 war jedoch mal wieder eine 285 vorgespannt, worauf ich natürlich nochmal extra gerne auf den Auslöser drückte ;) Ursprünglich war ich aufgrund der 193 793 nach Bernte gefahren, welche auch mit einem Kesselwagenzug nach Leipzig vorbeikam. Außerdem galt es, eine DB 185 und einen Hectorrail Taurus ebenfalls mit Kesselwagen aus Holthausen fotografisch festzuhalten. Neben einem ITL Vectron mit einem BLG-Autozug bildete die 285 111 den Abschluss eines erfolgreichen Abends an der Emslandstrecke ;)
There was a lot of movement in the flowers due to the wind.
That's why I had to use a fast shutter speed.
The result is a high I.S.O.
I'm finally back! I have a thousand excuses, but I'll skip those and just say that I have been genuinely missing flickr, my contacts, and most of all, my camera. After my AP tests, things should clear up more.

Wandering around downtown today. The weather was idyllic. I saw this as decor in an outdoor cafe area. Not an award winning image, but I love the simplicity of it.
2618 seen on Uxbridge Road in Hampton Hill on a 285 service towards Heathrow Airport. This bus recently transferred to Fulwell from Battersea garage, presumably to cover for the transfer of 2049 to Hayes, but I do stand corrected if otherwise.
The bus is in a sorry state, with the advert frames having definitely seen better days, and the offside company logo and LFB stickers nowhere to be seen.
