Esta fotografía foi feita o 7 de agosto de 1965 por “Foto Celta”, de Foz, que ía polas praias facendo fotos e logo vendéndollelas ás familias e persoas fotografadas. Nela aparecen dúas irmás, a maior é a miña avoa e a pequena miña tía avoa. As dúas nenas están xogando na beira da praia da rapadoira en Foz. Chama a atención a forma dos traxes de baño, que parecen un pantalón curto unido a un mandil. Un día á semana, había un autobús que pasaba polas vilas da mariña recollendo a xente pola mañá para levalos á praia e volvían ao final da tarde.

today i finished the novel extremely loud & incredibly close by jonathan safran foer. this photo is directly inspired by this set of photographs in the book. upon finishing, i realized that i am ready for tomorrow. i am ready to face the last of my demons.
also today, we discovered a very nasty virus on our computer. so we need to take it in and i may not be very active until we get it fixed.
