I finally got around to re-reading "A Fire Upon the Deep" and "A Deepness in the Sky" by Vernor Vinge in preparation for "The Children of the Sky". The two aforementioned books are amongst my most favorite works of science fiction.

Selfie day! Selifie in the elevator when I got to work, then in the bathroom with girl problems (bra strap came off), then in the rain walking to the bus and eating pizza delivered by a cute guy who chatted with me about backpacking!!
Ended up being an emotional afternoon, not sure why, but it was.
I did get a big congratulations when I told a friend divorce will be done next month. it was a good feeling!
