#281 in a series of a Ganesha a day for a year.
" No one made a bouquet of roses without rubbing a thorn;
No damsel was free at ease before her child was born;
Not one farmer slept at home and filled with grains, his barn;
After pain always comes gain;
After darkness dawn...."
Having gone round on the 280 town service, Metrobus Scania OmniCity 547 (YN05 HCC) returns to Crawley on the 281.
Buses arriving at Stone Quarry Estate on the 281 had excessive time to kill, as they had to delay the return to Crawley to maintain the combined frequency with the 291 from Tunbridge Wells. Therefore they looped round various parts of East Grinstead as route 280, never really carrying any passengers. With the Surrey CC-induced changes to the 409, route 281 was extended from Stone Quarry to Lingfield (to replace the East Grinstead - Worsted Farm - Stone Quarry - Dormansland - Lingfield section of the 409), and therefore the 280 was dropped, without replacement.
So while, when seen here, 547 had spend the time running around East Grinstead on the 280, from 3rd Setpember 2011, it would instead have gone out to Lingfield and be on its way back from there when snapped in this location.
547 on the 280: in London Road, and in the High Street.

5 minutes of 250C and the the puffy bread is done. It is meant to be a naan but I rollered it thin to see what would happen and it puffed up with crispy thin bits that were just like crisps. Pam and I made curried veg and spiced dal to eat along with the breads and some mango chutney. Very nice it was too.
I miss teaching in a classroom setting with routines and lesson plans and themes, so I decided to begin doing daily activities/ lessons with Kaylee. The next two weeks the theme is A is for apple. We started our morning off with painting an apple tree, then did apple patterns, and ended our activities with counting apple seeds. She wanted more lessons but by that time I was wiped out and ready for nap time. For those moms interested I got the idea from this blog www.oopseydaisyblog.com/mommy-school and pinterest.

Sodehnen (russ.
