Studio 26, exercises from the Art of Seeing
I enjoyed doing a variety of these exercises. Chose this as my final image because it seems closest to the brief of taking time to notice subject matter close at hand, so familiar that it usually goes unseen.
It's from #8 in the assignment list -- Put a wide angle or zoom lens by your bed at night. When you wake in the morning, shoot at least 5 photos from a prone position, & at least 5 more while sitting on the edge of the bed. An additional 10 between your bed & the bathroom. Don’t worry about composition, but shoot the things that catch your eye.
Here is the 26th picture of my 52 project.
Theme of the week was "Energy".
For this week, I was thinking about something related to sports, as sport is the first thing coming to me when I need to find an association with Energy. I catch a pair of roller shoes from a young girl who was playing in the same park I've brought my son this morning.

AMS_26 [20 points]
I have never seen the original of this space invader which was made in the year 1999. Because of the location this one was removed probably too fast and the number of space invader hunters was negligible at that time. Amsterdam has been under attack of Invader only one wave.
With the re-activation of AMS_26 and AMS_25, the re-activation program in Amsterdam is finished. Two re-activations are not possible anymore because the city changed as well as street furniture and the collaboration of owners of buildings and museums.

Jan Roelof (#stranger 25) (JR) was sitting on a bench enjoying the beautiful weather. I was talking to him. He lives all the time in the same street in the Rotterdam district of Kralingen. Hij started at number 22, later he moved to the other side, to number 21. A real Kralinger.
As a 9-year-old boy, he pass through the bombing in Rotterdam during the 2nd World War. That made a lot of impression on him.
On my way back, his son Wouter (#stranger 26) came to me. "Are you the photographer who just made a picture of my father?". "Do you want to email me the picture?" “Of course Wouter, can I take a picture of you?”
